Project Overview:
80lm of underground service tunnel, requiring structural improvements and concrete integrity improvements, concrete reinforcement with little to no concrete cover, exposed at the underside of the slab. Project managed by Milleen Constructions
Completed works:
- Shot/garnet blasting to prepare the substrate
- Application of Shot Patch 20MCI to provide 20mm cover to exposed reinforcement, approx. 17500ltrs of gunite material applied.
- Epoxy grouting to all newly installed structural members throughout the tunnel
- Concrete cancer repair to a large concrete retaining wall buttress, using the gunite method and Shot Patch 20MCI.
